Women’s circles are an ancient practice, where women gather and sit in circle like our ancestral mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers have done for thousands of years.

I, Akua Gutierrez acknowledge with deep gratitude the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and the Gundungurra and Dharug Peoples on whose land I am grateful to call home. I acknowledge that I live on stolen land and that sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
